Everyday Should Be Father's Day
While growing up, we watched stories and cartoons of superheroes. The truth is everybody wants a superhero in their life. But the real and first superhero in the life of a child is their father. For every person, a father is the symbol of strength that binds the entire family together. A father works day and night tirelessly to support the whole family economically and morally.
Dear Dads...Thank you. Thank you for being there for us. For instilling in us values that have made us successful. If it weren’t for you, we wouldn’t be who we are today. Not to discredit Moms. lol.
Etched in our memories are countless car rides from our preschool days to high school. Believe it or not, those rides made us feel special and valued because you took the time to treasure us then. Trips to the park were our favorite memories with you. The excitement of getting a slushie from the local convenience store is unmatched, because it was with you. You spent time with us doing grand things and mundane. Typically, the mundane were the most poignant.
As we celebrate you today, may you know that you are loved and treasured. We love you!!
